I’m going to be honest with you. I don’t envy my digital marketing colleagues. They have a tougher job than I do. Not that my job is easy, but, of the disciplines we have here at Idea Grove, digital marketing is the most fluid.

Not only is it more dependent on ever-changing technologies, but it’s also most affected by our shifting personal technology preferences. As we move from one chat tool to another or as a new social media platform quickly gains popularity, these digital marketers not only have to keep up but they have to figure out the best ways to continue reaching potential buyers.

All of this means that best practices don’t stay best for long. I chatted about this with Kady White, our HubSpot guru and digital marketing aficionado, and it was an interesting conversation. She shared with me how she keeps up with all the changes and how some of those preferential shifts (and changes to actual laws) have changed how you should be thinking about your digital marketing.

It was an interesting chat, and one that I think you’ll take quite a bit away from. Give it a watch and leave a question in the comments. We look forward to the conversation.
