Omnitracs, a leader in the transportation technology industry, will be hosting its third annual user conference in early 2017. Although a unique conference website was built by a third party for the previous year’s conference, the site did not allow Omnitracs the flexibility of adding in features.
Omnitracs wanted a site for the 2017 conference that would drive increased attendance, while staying consistent with an integrated branding experience.
Idea Grove stepped in to help create a better way. A custom platform was built so Omnitracs would not be restricted or dependent on a third party to add features and content. This new approach allowed for video integration, a mobile experience for all users across all devices and an integrated brand that would be consistent through all aspects of marketing.
Additionally, Omnitracs will not have to start from scratch for future conferences and will instead have a flexible platform, allowing them to cut costs.
Within the first six weeks of the website launch, the attendees registered for the conference compared to the prior year had doubled.
Idea Grove is using a process of Growth Driven Design to continually optimize and refine the site based on users’ actual behaviors and preferences.
