Should Brands Take Political Stands?

Consumers expect companies to do more than sell products today. They want to buy from brands that share their values.

But should companies take political stands?

I recently had a chance to share my thoughts on this topic in a debate at Southern Methodist University, sponsored by the Daily Caller News Foundation (DCNF). The conversation examined the larger issue of stakeholder capitalism as well.
