We work with established brands like Amazon, NEC and Stanford, along with emerging companies in cutting-edge technology sectors like converged infrastructure and SaaS for industries spanning healthcare, financial services, retail and more. We help clients win by orchestrating high-profile, integrated programs that drive business growth, working with clients’ C-suite to get the attention of media, influencers, customers and partners.

We’re looking for a talented senior-level Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll design everything from printed collateral to website mockups, with a focus on delivering quality creative to our clients. Candidates must have a strong understanding of design programs and principles, a desire to communicate ideas and stories visually, and a love of collaborating with others to bring those ideas to life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing and coaching junior team members, both formally and informally
  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships grounded in trust with your clients
  • Driving client strategy - working to understand your clients’ goals, where they and their industries are headed and how we can execute programs that maximize results
  • Managing day-to-day project execution with the account team, including PR programs as well and digital initiatives such as social media, inbound marketing and more
  • Collaborating with internal media relations team on client media relationships, providing input on customized outreach, creative pitches and strategic approaches to product and company announcements
  • Proactively bringing new ideas and fresh perspective to clients and your team
  • Maintaining knowledge of client and customer industries as well as competitors
  • Demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintaining knowledge of inbound marketing tactics to bring an integrated perspective to clients
  • Maintaining client profitability by managing and controlling billable hours, addressing scope as needed with clients
  • Identifying additional opportunities for Idea Grove to help clients achieve their goals, including but not limited to ad-hoc projects
  • Participating in new business proposals and pitches
  • Being an entrepreneur within Idea Grove by constantly looking for new ways to improve our team, our company, our strategies, and our client offerings – this could be as small as mapping out a new process or as large as proposing a new cutting edge project that will help clients stay ahead of the curve
  • Working successfully in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple account teams and clients

In addition to working with some pretty cool clients and surrounding yourself with a fun, driven team, you’ll also get to experience our quarterly team events (Texas State Fair, bowling, escape room and more), regular happy hours, training and mentoring through our Idea Grove University program, and after 90 days at the agency, unlimited time off and the ability to work from just about anywhere two days a week.
