Rob, executive vice president, is a senior marketing and communications professional with 25 years of experience in marketing, branding and communications. Rob’s experience is deep in brand development and marketing strategy for technology, healthcare and retail brands. Truly global in his outlook, Rob has completed multiple projects in the US and throughout Asia.
Prior to joining Idea Grove, Rob was vice president of marketing for medical device distributor, MedSurge Advances, where he led all public relations, marketing and branding efforts for MedSurge and its various B2B and B2C business units. While at MedSurge, Rob outsourced public relations to Idea Grove. This fruitful partnership resulted in several successful product launches wherein video news releases (VNRs) were used to gain national prime time news coverage for Acoustic Wave Therapy and Lipotherme medical devices and therapies. Rob was recruited by the chairman and CEO of MedSurge while he was servicing MedSurge as executive vice president of Eisenberg and Associates (E&A). E&A is a local creative agency known for its outstanding work in developing award-winning annual reports for TXU, Perot Systems, Alcon and other leading corporations.
Prior to his seven years at E&A, Rob headed the branding division for Steven J. Leach & Associates in Hong Kong. Rob and his team were instrumental in assisting western companies entering Asian markets. Most notable was the Chinese brand creation for General Motors of China and Shangri-La Hotels.
