Margaret, senior vice president, has 20 years of experience guiding successful B2B, technology, and consumer products companies through start-up phases, major product launches, rapid growth, and acquisitions. As the inbound marketing strategist at Idea Grove, she works with clients to optimize their marketing channels, deploy technologies that generate lower cost leads, and leverage measurable conversion tactics that drive revenue.
Before joining Idea Grove, Margaret directed global sourcing, product marketing, and merchandising as Vice President of Product Management and Merchandising for Daisytek International, a $2B computer technology distributor. And she spent the last 10 years building and branding B2B eCommerce properties as Chief Marketing Officer for electronics wholesaler, IP Capital LLC.
In prior senior marketing roles, she ran international marketing for UK-based Integrated Micro Products plc, a leading telecom equipment manufacturer purchased by Sun Microsystems (now Oracle), and was Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for consumer software distributor, Major Connections Inc. As head of Area Business Development and Channel Sales for IT consultant, Netigy Corp., she developed channel sales and marketing opportunities for network infrastructure and IT security services. She began her career in marketing with Electronic Data Systems (now Hewlett Packard).
Margaret holds a Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
