Cruise Scientology Video Captures Larger Audience Than Katie’s Mad Money

Mad Money’s opening weekend take was $7.7 million; at 10 bucks a head (yeah, I know that’s not the scientific way to do it), that’s an audience of 770,000. Meanwhile, the leaked Cruise Scientology rant has been viewed 1.8 million times on Gawker alone.

Suri Cruise: Already a Victim of Hollywood Ageism?

From IMDb.com:

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes refused to sell pictures of their new daughter Suri, after the photos were offered to the media and failed to get a significant price, according to media reports in the US…

Photos of Shiloh Jolie-Pitt were reportedly sold to People magazine for $4 million, but pictures of Suri Cruise produced not more than a $3 million bid. At that point the offer for the photos was reportedly rescinded.

A magazine expert [says that] now that the baby is nearly three months old, her price will only go down…

We’re still selling celebrity baby pics here.

Tom Cruise’s Publicist Blames the Media for His Declining Popularity

No, really.

First the facts:

According to a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll over the weekend … when 1,013 adults were asked their opinion of Cruise, 35% were favorable and 51% unfavorable. Nearly a year ago … the rating was 58% favorable and 31% unfavorable … His popularity with women seems most affected: 56% were favorable in 2005, compared with only 35% now.

Now, the explanation:

Arnold Robinson, his publicist, blames the media for the lower poll results.

“The only thing new in his life is this movie and his baby with a woman he loves,” he says. “The public has been besieged with these images. Whose fault is that? Tom hasn’t done anything.”

Arnold: please put down the vitamins and head immediately to a psychiatrist.

Larry King’s Media Orchard Takes

Since ESPN occasionally guesses what Larry King would write as one of their sportswriters, we wondered what he’d write for the Orchard. In lieu of pay, we proudly offer Media Orchard branded suspenders. Very sassy. (And Larry, if you’re interested, have your people email our people.)

Call me crazy, but this internet thing might actually take off... Print it: John Wayne wouldn’t have a blog... It may be me, but I think Richard Burkle knew he was being taped….. Anybody else think Wonkette is one hot masthead?.….. Forget Paris, Courtney Love would make a great Lucy Ewing in the new Dallas movie.…..Mark my words: actual links on websites will be the next big thing…… Take it to the bank: Kevin Federline will be ok…… You heard it here first: if gas prices hit $11 a gallon, oil companies may have to get out in front of this…… Charlie Sheen is a lock for father of the year…… Why don’t the Amish do more PR?…… This just in: Rellatio is real…. We’ve seen the end of Tom Cruise in the papers…… I’m not seeing as many Viagra ads on daytime TV like I used to.….. GOOD NIGHT, DALLAS!

Tom Cruise May Just Save You.

This stuff writes itself folks.

I’ve always found the ‘if it makes me feel better, it’s OK’ rationale a little suspect. I think it’s appalling that people have to live a life of drug addiction when I have personally helped people get off drugs.

Apparently Tom can save anyone from pretty much anything. How is it then that Scientology can’t teach him how to throw a baseball at the beginning of War of The Worlds? (Courtesy of defamer.)

Just wondering.
