Idea Grove has been named the winner of the 2013 PR World Awards for Innovation in PR for our public relations-driven inbound marketing methodology and Technology Campaign of the Year for our work on behalf of client ShopSavvy.
Idea Grove puts PR strategies and tactics at the center of our inbound marketing initiatives. This unique approach starts with story development, long a key driver of public relations success, and creates messages that connect corporate objectives with audiences. The approach uses PR, search and social media tactics to create awareness. Quality content encourages engagement.
This approach was used consistently in the Technology Campaign of the Year, undertaken on behalf of ShopSavvy, a mobile shopping application. Idea Grove developed a public relations program leveraging news releases, media pitches, video and an online forum that culminated during retail’s most-visible period: Black Friday.
ShopSavvy’s campaign has been recognized by the Dallas-Fort Worth chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Dallas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America, the Digital PR Awards, and the Golden Bridge Awards.
Idea Grove also has been honored by the Society of New Communications Research and PR News for Best Online Community, Content Marketing Awards for Best Blog Entry, and the Davey Awards for Best Blog Content. PR News named Idea Grove a finalist for Digital PR Firm of the Year and shortly after the Golden Bridge Awards named Idea Grove a winner for Media Relations Team of the Year.
The annual PR World Awards are sponsored by Silicon Valley Communications. More than 50 expert judges from around the world participated. Other 2013 PR World Award winners included Infusionsoft, Merritt Group, Bite Global and Redline Communications Group.
