What Debra LaFave did was not wrong, nor should it be considered a crime. In this sex-hating and puritanistic country that used to be America, she is prosecuted, her jury is commanded by a judge to railroad her, they are not informed of their right to acquit, they are also not informed that they are superior in power to the judge. The prosecution is full of morality-legislating mental midgets, and they (along with an obedient judge) select only those who are obedient and servile to serve on the jury. …So what is the better way? To know _your_ rights, and to answer as the prosecutor wishes during the illegal and unconstitutional process of voire dire (pronounced “vwar deer”), if you participate in a jury selection. Details are online at http://www.fija.org – “No Victim, No Crime” It would also help to support Ron Paul http://www.ronpaul2008.com or Wayne Root http://www.rootforamerica.com in their presidential bids, since both of them support a Fully Informed Jury Amendment that would bring us back to the common law standard of jury rights that was practiced before the Supreme Court precedent of “Sparf & Hansen V. the USA.” -Jake Witmer (PS: How sad that during her interviews, LaFave does not stand up against the mindless police state that America has become, and defend her right to her sexuality and her freedom).
