Burson-Marsteller Presents Blackwater with New Logo Concept

Burson-Marsteller announced its engagement with the U.S. security firm Blackwater today by presenting a new logo for the embattled company.
“The old logo was very aggressive. What kind of clawed animal is that anyway? And that red circle looks kind of like a bull’s eye,” said a spokesperson for Burson-Marsteller.
The new logo, the spokesperson said, “retains the distinctive paw/foot print brand element” while emphasizing that “the employees of Blackwater are more than mercenaries — they’re husbands and fathers, too.”
No reaction from Blackwater yet on its proposed new identity.
