Unfortunate Typo at Our Alma Mater, the Dallas Observer

Thanks to Oilman for pointing this one out.

Update: Not a typo after all. We’re dumb. Sorry.

Bledsoe last pass of the game was an interception — Romo’s first pass in the game was an interception.

Sounds like the Observer actually got it right.

(DISCLAIMER: Romo’s ball was tipped, and not thrown into the waiting arms of a defender. Also, Bledsoe’s pick was mostly the fault of the coaching staff, for calling a ridiculous square-out route across the field in the Red Zone, where cornerbacks are trained to jump on routes. It was a bad call with too much downside. It’s only Bledsoe’s fault if he checked down into that route, which I seriously doubt he did.)

I watched both guys that game. Not sure that’s a typo actually.

    ;-p

Yep — you may be right.

    Zero mobility.

ike, I have watched him for too long in NE and then when we got him in Buffalo. His first year he put up huge team numbers, but he also had Larry Centers out of the backfield as a check-off. No small coincidence that Centers went to the Pro Bowl that year either leading in receptions and yards.

Drew always struck me as needing a go-to guy. Most QB’s do, granted, but Drew seems lost without one. That year, it was someone out of the backfield. Then it was Moulds. In NE, it was Coates and Glenn.

And now in Dallas, it’s still Glenn. People get on TO, but I won’t. Not when Drew regularly goes to Glenn early and often. Gotta remind people TO did that bread-and-butter stuff across the middle in helping the Eagles get to a SB.

Early on this year though, Drew actually looked like the were calling quick hit passes for him and he responded positively.

Seems like he sure has regressed since though.

    Actually, not a typo.

    Revised cowboys predication:

13-3, Cowboys win the SB 126-0.

  6. SB says:

Yeah, I think Oilman blew that one, and then I compounded the problem by not bothering to read the article myself. Should have known better.

  7. SB says:

Also, just saw this made Gawker and Adrants, which I consider odd…slow news days for both?

Oh well…when it comes to blogs, as I’ve always maintained, you get what you pay for.
