MarketingProfs: We’ll Wait for a Better Offer

We love MarketingProfs; in fact, it’s one of our favorite Web sites. Still…

At 10:14 a.m. today, we received the following promotional offer in our inbox:

Hello!

As a professional marketer, are you asked to perform impossible feats every day? Need a little help? Maybe a little non-agenda-driven, practical, impartial advice? A few hints for how-to?

Well, help is on the way. Try becoming a Premium member of MarketingProfs — now at 20% off for a limited time.

Finally, we received this one at 10:19 a.m.:

We figure by mid-afternoon, they’ll be paying us to go premium. We’ll wait.

    Hi Scott,

Unfortunately you weren’t alone. Yep — it was a bad karma day at MarketingProfs for email promotions. We screwed up, and I’ll blog about “lessons learned” on the Daily Fix soon.

Until then, sincere apologies for all that email today. Regardless, glad you still love us.

    : )

Scott I got the same stream of emails, then finally an email from MP apologizing for the multiple emails, did you receive that email as well?
