The running drama on the journalism blog Romenesko concerns one Glenn Garvin, a TV critic for the Miami Herald who wrote that “about two-thirds of the 150 TV critics at the semi-annual television press tour in Pasadena left the room before Fox News CEO Roger Ailes took the stage for his talk.”
A second critic disagreed, saying that most reporters stayed for the speech, and Garvin responded, calling the critic’s criticism “quite mysterious.” Then, a third critic also criticized the critic, and Garvin responded to this critic as well. It’s a tennis match that’s gathering more eyeballs than anything involving Roger Federer (not that that’s such a great feat.)
Fortunately, a member of Media Orchard’s crack faux photography team was on the scene, and we can clear matters up once and for all.
