
Since Media Orchard joined MySpace this weekend, we have gained a new appreciation for the creative depths plumbed in the development of banner ads.
There are so many awards doled out for other types of advertising — the Clio Awards, the Mobius Awards, the Cresta Awards, and on and on. And yet the humble banner ad is all but forgotten despite its pervasiveness.
It’s time to correct this oversight.

If we receive at least 10 submissions by Thursday, we’ll post them all Friday and hold a vote to anoint the World’s Worst Banner Ad.
