Rellatio vs. Strumpette: "Ho-ier Than Thou" PR Fun

Yes, Rellatio is ho-ier than Strumpette. And -- we can only assume -- similarly fake:

Welcome

Despite how overworked we are, we're going to be giving you near-daily doses of insight via this website. Among the things we'll probably be talking about: how lame publicity stunts could have been executed with climactic aplomb--if only Rellatio was involved; parties that we love and parties that we hate; and hardcore gossip from the world of PR.

Kisses,
The Rellatio Girls

PS: Stay tuned for news of the hot young luxury brand that we'll be pre-launching later this week.

Oh, and their sales pitch in "About Rellatio"?

If you want to explode like a cannon into the mind of your audience, and be dripping from their ears for days, then come to us.

The folks at Furthermore should be very proud.

  • Hopefully this one will be a little bit more challenging to figure out. At least it made my morning as far as inbox moments go.

  • Hopefully this one will be a little more challenging to figure out. At least it made my inbox moment of the day - so far.

  • Fake, yes. But you gotta give 'em props for the name Rellatio. That is hilarious.

  • Oh, Puhlease. I "get" that this could be intentionally playing against the negative (all PR people are hos) and hitting it - ur - head on. But, this sort of teenage male fantasy stuff gets old really fast.

Of course, we women are a lot less impressed with push-up bras, stilettos and such. We know this stuff intimately (and how much work and uncomfortable it is to dress for sex). So it's not as titillating to us as it is to you fellas. (We want to see breasts - we can go look in the mirror any ol' time.)

That said, yes Rellatio is a (sort of) creative title.

Back to real work for the day!

  • Scott: Thanks for posting that photo extra-large in your RSS feed. My co-workers have a new appreciation of what I'm talking about when I say I'm scanning business-related blogs!

Now they want to know what business I'm really in.

(Why don't we see any PR blogs with a Deliverance theme?)

  • Eric: the Deliverance blog would be Strumpette...

    By Blogger SB, at 4/04/2006

  • Mary: Shhhhhhhhh! Don't spoil it for us.

  • Scott,

Bill will be taking over responsibility for these and related types of posts, right? I'm simply not qualified.

By Anonymous Andrea Weckerle, at 4/04/2006

  • Yes, Andrea -- you will be needed to maintain some semblance of propriety.

    By Blogger SB, at 4/04/2006

  • Impossible not to miss your post in my RSS feed, Scott, with that saucy photo!

I'm not sure whether to laugh or weep at this one...

By Anonymous Neville Hobson, at 4/04/2006

  • What, no RSS feed on Rellatio? How do they expect people to suck on their content?

By Blogger Mike Abundo, at 4/04/2006

  • Yes Andrea. I will make sure to be on top of sites like this.
