The farmer and the cowmen will never be friends. Farmers have fences, cowmen need to run. But, there used to be an organization in SF/SV called Hacks and Flacks, which was supposed to bring together the two, for drinks, I think. Wasn't part of it, so don't know.The ironic thing - um, whatever happened to PR Managers and up in corporations having ... media contacts and relationships?

In the U.K., Spin Goddess Julia Hobsbawm says PR people and journalists should be friends. So she created a venture called Editorial Intelligence to bring them together.
