Forbidden Love, Part 2: More on the Curious Case of Julia Hobsbawm

In Oklahoma, they say the farmer and the cowman should be friends.

In the U.K., Spin Goddess Julia Hobsbawm says PR people and journalists should be friends. So she created a venture called Editorial Intelligence to bring them together.

It’s been a PR disaster for all involved, although we’re still not exactly sure why. Read the whole saga here.

    The farmer and the cowmen will never be friends. Farmers have fences, cowmen need to run.

    But, there used to be an organization in SF/SV called Hacks and Flacks, which was supposed to bring together the two, for drinks, I think. Wasn’t part of it, so don’t know.

    The ironic thing – um, whatever happened to PR Managers and up in corporations having … media contacts and relationships?
