We were discussing with Bill Green in Capote post comments that there are certain actors whose movies we will not watch — period. In the Media Orchard household, this is known as “The List.”
The No. 1 guy on Media Orchard’s will-not-watch list is Ben Stiller. Besides the fact that he’s not funny, here’s why:
When you need a wig and fake moustache to be funny … you’re probably getting a little desperate.

Anyone who actually thought appearing in the movie Dumb & Dumber would be a good career move (I got suckered into watching this when it came out in ’94).
Ben Stiller was on my list, too, but I have to admit he partially redeemed himself in The Zero Effect.
That leaves Steven Seagall, David Caruso and Ben Affleck on my list.
Cruise and Gibson. Both of them espouse beliefs so abhorrent I can’t get past them.
One person that I shouldn’t be watching is Keanu Reaves. But for some strange (but pleasantly surprising) reason, I can’t help but like him!

As for Dumb & Dumber – Cam Neely stole that movie!
