The artifically high supply of &quot;network wannabes&quot; means they get a pittance wage.  Most won&#039;t need a big bump to switch careers, and some organizations might just opt for cheap to fill the job.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;Many are over-enamored with what journalists can bring to the job anyway.  They think all reporters have the same knack and inside knowledge.  The fact is that some of the skills that great reporters possess will allow them to be great PR people... eventually.  PR is a lot more than media.</description>
