I just got an invitation today., of course way after you head of the "Magic Middle" types (ha-ha). I don't mind doing this, but don't you think that if we do it we should actually try to launch some sort of moblogging or other Social Media program to really test it out? Also, so we actually learn something? I have no intention of blogging about this thing unless I can find something on topic to say. Of course, we can just hack away at the campaign itself I guess.

I consider it nothing less than spam... they clearly didn't read our blogs, or they'd know some of us don't appreciate being spammed.

When I wrote them to complain, I got a BS letter saying it wasn't spam. I'm sure their legal department made them say that.

I'm covering it at Desirable Roasted Coffee.

Point well taken, Scott :) I guess the PR blogosphere would be kinda boring if it was a mutual admiration society.

What the hell would bloggers do if they couldn't split hairs, David? Are you trying to put us out of business? :)

Holy hair-splitting. If we're measuring outputs here, then I'd say they're doing a good job getting popular bloggers signed up. We'll have to take their word on the outcomes.
