Media Orchard Reveals the Hot Job Trend for 2006

David Parmet directed Steve Rubel to a cool tool at Indeed, a job-listing search engine, that “enables you to chart the percentage of all jobs that mention a particular word.” Steve posted a chart, for example, that showed a dramatic increase in job listings that mention “wikis” during 2005.

We entered “public relations” as well as some other job terms, but everything we input came back with relatively flat trend results. Until we entered the following job term, which has shown quite an uptick:
