In memory of “Honest Abe” Lincoln and George “I Cannot Tell a Lie” Washington, Media Orchard last February introduced its list of the Top 10 Moments in Public Honesty. This year, just prior to Presidents’ Day, we’re going to offer our second-annual ranking.

We’d love for this list to come entirely from you — the blogified media, marketing and PR community.

Here are the ground rules:

1. The purpose of the list is to honor companies, politicians and others who have exhibited refreshing candor in their interactions with the public.
2. Moments in honesty had to occur between February 2005 and February 2006.
3. The list will be posted on February 15, 2006.
4. Individual bloggers will be credited for their contributions.
5. Enter early and often; there’s no limit.

If you’re curious, here’s last year’s list. Although we consider it our first Media Orchard post (at least in spirit), it was actually written before we set up our blog — so we distributed it as a press release instead.
