New BlogAds Logo: Better Than the Current One

BlogAds is rolling out a new logo in January, which they selected after a contest. The winner got $1,000 (compared to the $100,000 that Razorfish might have gotten a few years ago).

The new logo is a big improvement over the current one; it retains the “analog” feel without looking like it was scrawled by a serial killer.

BTW, BlogAds does need to clean up whether its identity is “BlogAds,” “Blogads,” “blogads” or “Blog Ads” — the company is referred to all four ways on the site’s home page.

We actually get phone calls from people asking to speak with “blow-jads.” Haha! I like the new logo a lot, and hopefully the two colors will help people to differentiate Blog & Ads and pronounce it correctly.

The company is Blogads, the ads that you see on blogs are blogads.
