If you’re an Internet user who’s not familiar with Fark.com, I’m beginning to think you’re in the minority.
The “weird news” Web site was launched by Drew Curtis in February 1999. That year, it received 50,000 page views.
In 2004, it received more than 400 million page views.
To give you an idea of Fark’s power, the site linked to one of my posts six hours ago; since then, 6,000 unique visitors have been referred to Media Orchard.
