Steve and Shel’s Big Texas Adventure
Two of my favorite bloggers, Steve Rubel and Shel Israel, will be in Austin Nov. 2 to speak at a one-day conference, “The Blogging Enterprise.”
Steve will be arriving from the Big Apple and Shel from Silicon Valley. (I guess us Texas bloggers are invited, too — if we buy a ticket. Right, John and Steven?)
Representatives from companies like IBM and EDS also will share their blogging experiences at the conference.
Steve, this is a long way for Jeremy to travel, so you should be safe to insult the audience members with inpunity. 
True story …
The only reason I was asked to speak at the PR Day here in Houston is because Steve Rubel was too expensive.
Rumor has it that if the Astros win the series, the team has asked Steve (instead of the mayor) to speak at the victory parade!
Well, it’s all about the good of the industry.
Oh, wait, it’s all about being a busboy and lining one’s pockets.
It was a good session and I know that I learned a few things in areas I’d not thought about before.
Cebess, I’m sure you’re right. Steve and Shel both know their stuff backwards and forwards.
